His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 17:4-11

This morning’s verses continue to talk about the consequences of trusting in worldly resources.

Are we harvesting wheat or weeds? If we are harvesting weeds, we need to look at what we are sowing (See Matthew 13:24-30) and/or the ground into which we are sowing. Are we sowing the Word of God daily into our hearts that are receptive? (See Matthew 13:3-9) When we are receptive to His Word, we will be supplied even more. (See Matthew 13:12)

Today, let us continue to sow the Word of God into our hearts that are receptive to His Word. Because in due time we shall reap if we do not give up. (See Galatians 6:9) He gives us the power to get wealth. (See Deuteronomy 8:18)

May the Lord continue to bless you richly!
