His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 18:1-3

This morning’s verses talk about how He speaks to us.

The Lord speaks to us with context. When a banner is raised on the mountains, we see the sky as well as what surrounds the banner. In other words, we can still hear His voice despite various thoughts that are present in our minds.

However, we still need wisdom to know when to fight off the ungodly thoughts that are present in our minds. We can choose to walk in the Spirit (See Galatians 5:16), bearing the fruit of the Spirit, peace (See Galatians 5:22-23).  So we will know when to fight off the enemy through confession - when we lose peace.

Today, let us continue to rest in His truth that we hear His voice. The Holy Spirit will teach us when to confess the Word of God to deal with the attack from the enemy.

May the Lord continue to bless you richly!
