His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 21:6-7

This morning’s verse talks about alertness.

Are we paying attention to the spiritual climate around ourselves? The world around us can negatively influence us if we don’t keep watch over ourselves to guard our hearts (See Proverbs 4:23).

The world insists on a roadmap to feel secure, yet the Word values faith to step out into the unknown. The world may not like it when we say that we do not know where we are going (See Hebrews 11:8). The world prefers comfort and not being distracted to do what was not expected (See John 2:4). It is in these blind spots that we see opportunities to break through to the next level.

Today, let us continue to guard our hearts to fulfill the God-given destiny He has for each one of us. What areas do we need to renew to align with His ways so that we can move to the next level?

May the Lord continue to bless you richly!
