This morning’s verses speak of our choices and the consequences.

The Scriptures say that there are negative consequences when our words and actions are against the Lord, rebelling against the Lord. Are our words and actions in alignment with His will? Asking the Lord in terms of choices, such as which vocations, schools, marriage partners, houses, and cars, and being obedient to His guidance is one thing, but have we forgotten to follow the foundational teachings and instructions in the Bible, such as love? Faith, hope, and love remain forever. (See 1 Corinthians 13:13) But the visible areas, such as vocations, schools, houses, and cars, all perish, and we don’t take these to heaven with us. (See 1 Timothy 6:7)

Today, let us assess whether we have forgotten or overlooked the teachings of His Scriptures. Because whoever is faithful with what he or she has, more will be given. (See Matthew 13:12)

May the Lord continue to bless you richly!
