His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 3:13-15

This morning’s verses speak of taking responsibility for our choices. 

Are we being responsible for the consequences of the choices we make? In the long term, this will manifest in our sowing and reaping. What are we sowing for our future, including our time in heaven? Are we frustrated because we are not seeing positive results on this earth from our consistent sowing? Because the Scriptures are Spirit-breathed, which has eternal significance, we don’t need to be disappointed even if we don’t reap every harvest during our lifetime, but will certainly do so in eternity. (See Galatians 6:9, Hebrews 13:8)

Today, let us remember to continue to sow for our future. We don’t need to be pressured to manipulate to see His promises come to pass in this lifetime because we will reap at an eternal level.
