His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 30:15-17

This morning’s verses talk about trusting in the Lord in quietness.

What does trusting in the Lord look like? It is done in quietness. The pressures of this world may tempt us to be emotional, but we can still trust in the Lord in quietness. If we have the Almighty God in us (See 1 John 4:4), do we have to strive to see things happen? We can trust in the Lord in quietness, and He will do mighty things through us. We can choose to turn to the Lord and experience salvation in rest.

Today, let us trust in the Lord in rest and quietness. He will work mightily through us.

May the Lord continue to bless you richly!
