His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 38:9-22

This morning’s verses talk about our cares.

There are cares we can choose to cast on the Lord because we care about those matters (See 1 Peter 5:7). But how about issues that we don’t want to or need to care about? We can choose to focus our minds on what matters to us at the moment instead (See 2 Corinthians 6:2).

Today, let us focus our minds on the present, the now. We can cast our cares on the Lord concerning matters that we should care about. The Holy Spirit would tell us what we should care about.

May the Lord continue to bless you richly!
