His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 4:2-6

This morning’s verses speak of prosperity, abundance, and protection for those who remain faithful to the Lord.

What are we going through today that may tempt us to give up on doing what is right? The Lord promises that there will be a time of harvest for reaping if we don’t give up. But are we expecting the harvest during our lifetime on this earth? It will certainly take place at an eternal level. In other words, we may not see the harvest during our lifetime in this world. (See Galatians 6:9, Hebrews 13:8)

Today, let us not give up on sowing for our future. Because whatever we sow, we will reap during our eternal life. (See Galatians 6:7)
