His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 5:8-15

This morning’s verses speak of the consequences of greed, drunkenness, unwillingness to know God, and pride.

God is interested in our character growth because a lack of it will result in negative, ungodly consequences. Are we striving to obey the Lord only to experience success, prosperity, and abundance? What He is interested in is our spiritual, heart, and mind transformation that leads to character development, because it is the character transformation that leads to Godly prosperity.

Today, let us choose integrity. We may be tempted to think that we need to manipulate our way to success, but it is our focus on character development that leads to Godly abundance.
