This morning’s verses speak of the attacks from our enemies.
How do we deal with the attacks we receive from the enemy? Do we need to hold onto the position the Lord has placed? Jesus trusted Judah to be one of His twelve disciples but was betrayed and put on the cross so that humanity can receive His love of forgiveness, His salvation, which continues to this day after 2,000 years (See 2 Corinthians 5:21). In other words, we don’t need to hold onto the position the Lord has placed but rather to continue to grow on the inside like Jesus, Who asked for forgiveness of humanity when He was put on the cross (See Luke 23:34). Because His love has eternal significance which continues into our time in heaven after we have completed our assignment on this earth (See 1 Corinthians 13:13). He opens doors and closes doors for us to grow in character (See Revelations 3:7).
Today, let us not hold onto where we are today. Our focus should be on what is eternal: our character growing to become more like Christ (See 2 Corinthians 3:18).
May the Lord continue to bless you richly!
