His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 11:5

This morning’s verse talks about His faithfulness.

We have His faithfulness because we are created in His image (See Genesis 1:27). So are we faithful with what we started? The Lord is interested in us becoming more and more like Christ (See 2 Corinthians 3:18). He is interested in our internal, unseen character transformation (See 2 Corinthians 4:18). His will for our lives is already taught in the Scriptures. Is His love released through our lives daily? (See 1 Corinthians 13:13)

Today, rather than being concerned about our career path, let us focus on becoming more and more like Christ in character in our journey because this is what matters in eternity.
