His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 13:6-16

This morning’s verses talk about His anger towards sin.

Jesus became sin so that we can receive the gift of righteousness through faith (See 2 Corinthians 5:21, Ephesians 2:8). As believers, the only way to receive His anger is through our unbelief, believing the lie that He is still angry with us resulting in self condemnation (See Romans 8:1). 

Today, let us ask the Holy Spirit, what areas we have chosen not to receive His Word. We can choose to walk in the Spirit (See Galatians 5:16) experiencing the fruit of the Spirit, peace (See Galatians 5:22-23).
