His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 15:1-9

This morning’s verses continue to talk about the power of God. 

The Scriptures promise that the Lord will soon crush satan under our feet (See Romans 16:20). We can see the picture of how the Lord deals with His enemies, protecting His children. Because the devil is crushed under our feet, we can clearly see what lies ahead. 

Today, what distracting thoughts constantly interfere with our walk with the Lord? The Lord teaches us to forget the past (See Philippians 3:13). His voice is clear, like a signal on a bare mountain. However, a bare mountain still has things on and around it that may distract us from hearing the voice clearly. We can still hear His voice despite the various thoughts present in our minds. (See Isaiah 13:1-5) We can choose to walk in the Spirit (See Galatians 5:16), bearing the fruit of the Spirit, peace (See Galatians 5:22-23).
