This morning’s verses talk about the pride of humanity.

Our stubbornness to His truth leads us to destruction. What are the causes of our restlessness in our daily lives? It is very likely because of our hardened hearts, both intentionally and unintentionally, without knowing it. Have we been carrying the weight of past hurts, wounds, and disappointments that we go over and over again in our minds? The Bible teaches us to forget the past (See Philippians 3:13), as it also teaches us that love keeps no record of being wronged (See 1 Corinthians 13:5). This may seem difficult, but it is our simple choice to let go of the past and look to the future.

Today, let us reflect on areas where we feel restless. Because when we invite Him into our hearts, we can experience the peace that He only gives (See Isaiah 26:3).

May the Lord continue to bless you richly!
