His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 29:15-16

This morning’s verses continue to talk about our hearts.

Can we hide what we are doing when others don’t see us? I believe this is one reason the Bible teaches us to do unto the Lord, not for human masters (See Colossians 3:23). We are ultimately held accountable to the Lord, not to our leaders in this world. In other words, what we choose to do when others don’t see us counts.

Today, let us assess areas where we have chosen to fear the eyes of men. Instead, we can choose to reverently fear the Lord Who keeps us safe (See Proverbs 29:25).

May the Lord continue to bless you richly!
