His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 31:6

This morning’s verses talk about idols.

What has become an idol in our lives that gets in the way of our relationships with the Lord? Have we let offences, fears, and worries become our idols? What is He speaking to us to deal with those emotions? The Bible teaches us that love keeps no record of wrongs (See 1 Corinthians 13:5). It teaches us to go the extra mile with mercy (See Matthew 5:41). It also teaches us to cast our cares on Him (See Psalm 55:22, 1 Peter 5:7).

Today, let us assess areas where we may have let them get in the way of our relationships with the Lord. His Word is the solution to those idols.
