His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 36:4-10

This morning’s verses talk about our faith and trust.

Are we intimidated to confront a situation because of our lack of resources? The world may trust logic, talent, skills, money, record, status, etc., to resolve problems. But we have the Lord, Who is Almighty El Shaddai, with us, Who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above (See Ephesians 3:20). The Lord may use these elements, but ultimately what matters is the Lord intervening in the situation to resolve challenges. We can choose to stay in quietness and confidence, trusting in the Lord (See Isaiah 30:15, Isaiah 32:17-18). What is He speaking to us to do? We can choose to follow Him (See Romans 14:23), trusting Him that all things work together for good (See Romans 8:28).

Today, when faced with a problem, let us turn to the Lord.
