His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 36:13-20

This morning’s verses speak about the enemy's attacks.

What do we trust when the enemy attacks us? Do we trust what we can see, like resources? Or do we trust what we cannot see, such as the Lord? The Bible teaches that believers walk by faith and not by sight. We may or may not have all of the intelligence, logic, people, or finances, but what matters is our God. We can choose to stay in quietness and confidence, trusting in the Lord (See Isaiah 30:15, Isaiah 32:17-18). What is He speaking to us to do? We can choose to follow Him (See Romans 14:23), trusting Him that all things work together for good (See Romans 8:28).

Today, let us continue to choose to rest in Him. We can choose to trust Him in quietness, following what He speaks to us. The rest is in His hands, working all things for good.

May the Lord continue to bless you richly!
