His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 37:21-29

This morning’s verses talk about the Lord bringing down the enemy. 

Who is our enemy? It may not necessarily be a person in a relationship constantly attacking us with ungodly negativity. It can simply be on the inside, our ungodly thoughts, that constantly attack us to turn our focus away from the Lord. We may have a lot to deal with and may even wonder if we focus on the present (See 2 Corinthians 6:2), we can be set free (See John 8:32), but He will. We may not understand this truth, but we can choose to believe (See Proverbs 3:5-6). When we choose to walk in the Spirit, He will deal with the enemy (See Galatians 5:16).

Today, let us ask the Lord about the areas where we are being attacked. Although His truth may not make sense, we can choose to trust in His Word to set us free.
