His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 37:5-7

This morning’s verses talk about His protection.

The Lord fights for us and deals with the enemy. What do we do? We focus on walking in the Spirit (See Galatians 5:16). We may be concerned about the offense, shame, past, fear of uncertainties, etc., and we may want to deal with them with our own hands, but the truth is that the Lord deals with them while we focus our spiritual eyes on the Lord. This requires self-discipline (See Galatians 5:22-23), but this is the way. 

Today, let us choose to discipline ourselves to focus on walking in the Spirit. We can leave the ungodly thoughts with the Lord as He deals with the enemy.
