His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 5:24-30

This morning’s verses speak of God’s judgment. 

Why does God judge His people? To encourage them to recognize their sins and return to Him. Are there any areas in our lives where we feel like we are experiencing the consequences of ungodly choices we made? God wants us to recognize them and make corrections to follow Him. Are we choosing to forget what is behind that include offenses that we received from others, and look ahead into the future? (See Philippians 3:13) How is our health through discipline (See Galatians 5:22-23) that includes eating and sleeping habits? We can experience freedom and, better yet, blessed health accordingly. 

Today, let us assess our walk with the Lord and ask Him to correct areas that need to be corrected to walk the abundant life He has for each one of us. (See John 10:10)
