His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 7:18

This morning’s verse speaks of His judgment.

Why was the Lord judging Israel but not those nations that are attacking Israel? Because Israel was a nation chosen by the Lord. They were expected to live by the high standards the Lord expected of them.  In other words, those who are given much responsibility will be held accountable accordingly. We may be asking the Lord for more, but we need to be prepared to accept this truth (See Luke 12: 42-48). 

Today, let us be like a servant who is faithful with what the Lord has entrusted us with. He will give us even more responsibilities.
