This morning’s verses talk about the transition into new assignments. Moses and Joshua were called by the Lord to transition leadership and were told that the people they led would fall into ungodliness. Moses had to let go of his leadership after having fulfilled his assignment, and Joshua would lead the people into the promised land, fighting battles with people who would later fall into sin.
