This morning's verse talks about lying. One of the reasons why we lie is because of our insecurity.  AMP version of the Bible says that to give false testimony is to "lie, withhold, or manipulate the truth". We have to lie because by being truthful, we may forfeit something losing control. It is our pride that drives us to try to look good in front of others that makes us lie.
