His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 17:12-14

This morning’s verses talk about how the Lord deals with the enemies.

Our greatest daily battles take place in our minds. He deals with the enemies powerfully, “like chaff on the mountains before the wind, Or like whirling dust before the storm.” (Isaiah 17:13)

In other words, this should be our experience when we deal with our enemies in our minds using the Word of God. Little bits and pieces of unwanted thoughts may invade our minds, but the Lord will sweep them away so we don’t need to be distracted by them. Do we trust the Lord to sweep them away?

Today, let us trust the Lord to fight our battles. He will sweep the dust-like thoughts of ungodliness away from our minds. We don’t need to be distracted by them.

May the Lord continue to bless you richly!
