His Word for Today: Book of Isaiah 20:1-6

This morning’s verse talks about humiliation.

Have we ever felt humiliated because we thought that everything would be OK, even to the point of boasting in our self-confidence? This is a dangerous state to be in because it is only when we trust in the Lord that we are kept safe (See Proverbs 29:25). Whoever humbles himself will be elevated, and vice versa (See Matthew 23:12).

Today, let us assess in what areas we have boasted that everything will be OK when we know deep down that it would not be. It is time to change our course and choose to seek and trust in Him instead.
