This morning's verses talk about obedience to the Lord. Are we obedient to what the Lord has called us to do?
As the Scripture teaches us, we cannot run away from the gifts the Lord has given to us. (Ref Romans 11:29) Our only choice is to use them or not.
What is He speaking to us today? What is the still small voice we hear from the inside as we develop our intimate relationship with the Lord? We may have an impression from the Spirit what to do next. (Ref Psalm 23, 1 Kings 19:12-13)
In this season of walk with Christ, He may be more interested in building our characters rather than give us a new divine calling as we may already be in the calling. For example, do we have to make a point every time we have a conflict or do we choose to be still and know that He is God that we can trust. (Ref Psalm 46:10) Gentle, small voice is enough to communicate because that is His Spirit. Our motive is the key. (Ref Hebrews 4:12)
Today, let us continue to focus on what He has called us to do.
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
