This morning's verses talk about correction. Before we are able to correct others, are we able to correct ourselves?
Are there any areas in our lives where the Lord desires to correct? Therefore, our corrections need to start from within but not from guilt or pressure to please others who are not happy about our behaviors.
What is He speaking to us through a still small voice? The deeper our relationship with the Lord, the smaller and more still His voice because He does not need to speak louder. This is His Spirit.
When we are in agreement with the Lord, we don't need to speak loud all the time to persuade others. Gentle, small voice actually develops trust and engagement with the listeners. And the more we develop relationship with the audience, the less effort is required. What matters here is the motive and is not about measuring the physical sound volume of our voices. (Ref Hebrews 4:12) How would you like others to communicate to you? (Ref Luke 6:31)
Today, let us continue to develop the intimate relationship with the Lord and ask Him to step in to correct us.
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
