Today's verse talks about moving from wilderness to wilderness. Can we bear fruit in the wilderness? Jesus bore fruit even in the wilderness having experienced victory over the devil, having resisted the temptation from the devil which fled. (Ref Matthew 4:1-11)

Psalm Chapter 1 verse 3 talks about the leaves that do not wither. This seems to be because the tree continues to draw the necessary nutrients from the river water which causes the leaves not to wither, which is supernatural. As we draw strength from His Word, we are able to supernaturally stay strong in every season. Fruit does not necessarily need to be a promotion, new job, new project, marriage etc.. It can simply be a fruit of the Spirit such as love, joy, peace etc., (Ref Galatians 5:22-23) or even rest through faith in Christ (Ref Hebrews 4:3) but this requires maturity in our faith through being crushed, which produces the anointing oil. (Ref James 1:2)

Today, no matter what season we are in, which is out of our control, let us continue to bear fruit supernaturally experiencing more and more of Jesus. It may not be the fruit we may expect in the promised land that may be more tangible but we can continue to enjoy His fruit in every season such as in the area of character.

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
