Today's verse talks about the ark of the covenant going in front of the Israelis as they moved from one place to another in the wilderness. The ark of the covenant represented the Lord as it contained the ten commandments and was used as a place to hear the voice of the Lord. (Ref Exodus 25:17-22)

God is going in front of us as we go from one place to another in our own individual journeys. What is He speaking to us today in the wilderness so that we can proceed from the wilderness into the land of His promise?

We are in the end times and experience the signs of them. Believers will be hated, many will be offended, betray, hate one another, and false teachers will emerge, societal disorder will grow, and the love of many will grow cold. (Ref Matthew 24:9-14) In this instance, our focus on Christ, forgetting what is behind, and looking ahead is critical. (Ref Philippians 3:13) Only one thing is needed. (Ref Luke 10:42) In the promised land, there are battles that need to be fought to experience victory. It is important that we prepare for the next challenge ahead.

Today, what is He speaking to us to repent? We can renew our minds so that we may know His good and perfect plan for us. (Ref Romans 12:1-2) He may be leading us gradually out of the wilderness into the promised land as we renew our minds. He will not tempt us beyond what we are able to bear. (Ref 1 Corinthians 10:13) Let us stay focused.

May the Lord continue to richly bless you today.
