His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 11:24-25

Today's verse talks about Moses selecting the elders, and the elders praised God but this did not continue. Do we choose to obey the Lord consistently?

Throughout the day, where is our focus? God desires that we think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.(Ref Philippians 4:8) God delights in seeing us focused on one thing that honors Him. (Ref Philippians 3:13) The Scriptures teach us to do all things for the glory of the Lord. (Ref 1 Corinthians 10:31) Whether we are praying, reading the bible, spending time with our family, exercising, working, serving the church, He wants us to do these for the glory of the Lord.

We may not do all things perfectly but He wants us to press on to do our very best to be the best that we can be for Him. We will be made perfect when He returns to meet us.(Ref Philippians 1:6)

Today, let us evaluate and assess where our focus is throughout the day.
