Today's verse talks about the Israelis moving forward together. Do we get impatient with those who seem to be pulling us backwards keeping us from moving forward? The Lord wants us to move together.
If the Lord left us if we were slow in our spiritual growth, how can we ever continue growing? The bible tells us that He who began a good work will carry on to completion. (Ref Philippians 1:6) God is patient with us as we walk with Him fulfilling our God given destiny.
Because we are like Christ, (Ref 1 John 4:17) we are to walk with other accordingly. We may be striving for success wanting to see what we are aspiring to achieve but frustrated with others who are in the same boat because of their progress or speed, but our choice should be to move along side them and enjoy each step. (Ref Psalm 37:23) It is not really about the success in this world but about our character growth because it is the unseen that we take with us to heaven. (Ref 2 Corinthians 4:18) Is the state of our soul that matters not worldly recognition. (Ref Matthew 16:26)
Today, let us assess how we walk each step in the community of people, our marriage, family, church, business etc.. At the end of the day, what matters is how we have applied His word and have experienced spiritual growth.
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
