His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 13:17-20

Today's verse speaks to the testing of the people before the next leadership assignment. How can we find out who can be trusted for the next leadership role? 

Moses sent 12 spies into the promised land to investigate the conditions, which they obeyed. However, how they saw the land was different. They gave different feedback. The bible teaches that out of the abundance of the heart our mouths speak. (Ref Matthew 12:34) What people say is a good indicator of what is inside them. And what is inside them produces the fruit. (Ref John 15:5) We can then see who may be ready to take on the next assignment. 

Today, let us carefully assess who we should walk with for fulfilling the God given destiny. Are we surrounding ourselves with people who are ready to walk with us in faith to experience the next level of His will?
