Today's verse talks about the route the Israeli spies took to investigate the promised land. They started from the South, which seems to have been the most challenging area governed by the Anak, to the North. Is there any significance as to why they journeyed from the most challenging area to get to know about the territory the Lord promised to give to them?

How do we start our day? Do we start from the easiest then to the most difficult? Or from the most difficult, that would demand the most energy, then to the easiest, which may require the least energy? There is certainly a wisdom to learn from the way the Lord led the Israelis to spy out the promised land. It is important that we deal with the heaviest when we have the most energy to the lightest when least amount of energy is required.

Today, let us begin our day with the most demanding tasks.

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
