Today's section of the bible talks about our trust in the Lord even when it may not make much sense. And even if we trust Him and follow through with actions, we may not see physically what He promised during our time on this earth. His promises may be fulfilled in the next generation. Is it worth our risk?
What is the most important area of our life that has eternal value? It is the unseen that will not fade away. (Ref 2 Corinthians 4:18) One of them is our heart, soul, mind. It is when we believe in Him, trust in Him that we experience His rest. (Ref Hebrews 4:3) No matter what the outcome, we wouldn't want to forfeit our soul to gain the physical, tangible things. (Ref Matthew 16:26) But the truth is, when we guard our hearts, life flows.(Ref Proverbs 4:23) When we prosper in our mind, all areas prosper. (Ref 3 John 1:2) What better result would we want than to have a sound mind? (Ref 2 Timothy 1:7)
Where is our focus as we walk throughout the day? Are we frustrated because the distractions don't go away? If we give attention to those distractions, the devil is already stealing our focus. Stay focused on the one thing (Ref Luke 10:42) and guard our hearts. Because as we submit ourselves to the Lord, and we continue to resist, the devil will eventually flee. (Ref James 4:7)
Today, let us focus on guarding our hearts which has eternal value trusting in His Word no matter what the physical outcome may look like. Because eventually, when our soul prospers, everything else will prosper.
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
