Today's verse talks about the Israelis who said they would follow the Lord but were actually not. We as Christians should be the doers of the Word, (Ref James 2:17) which means that we bear the fruits of the Spirit. (Ref Galatians 5:22-23) We are not to be like a fig tree which Jesus cursed, like pretenders who even seem to be doing all the good things but are not Spirit led bearing His fruit in season. (Ref Matthew 21:18-19)

What are the fruits that the Lord would like us to bear? He would like us to see the fruits of His promises in the Scriptures that include the Fruits of the Spirit. This is because the Word is Spirit. (Ref John 6:63) God would like us to bear the fruit of healing, prosperity as well. God literally wants to reveal Himself through us from the Spirit, through soul, then onto body.

(Ref  1 Thessalonians 5:23)

Today, let us assess how we are bearing His fruit in our lives. Because if our fruit is good and Godly, our seed must be good and Godly as well. And we are to focus on working to bear good fruit regardless of how others are doing (Ref Philippians 2:12) because His season to bear fruit will come.

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
