His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 15:1-10

Today's verses talk about the Lord giving us the land, the territories. What is keeping us from receiving the inheritance? Our battle is in the spiritual realm. (Ref Ephesians 6:12) Are there repeated ungodly patterns that are seen in the natural that need to be broken? This could be our business, ministry etc. not advancing and expanding to the next level. 

Israelis wandered in the desert for 40 years because of their unbelief, (Ref Joshua 5:6) which could have only been 11 days. (Ref Deuteronomy 1:2) The solution was as simple as believing that they could experience victory in the battles in the promised land. (Ref Numbers 14)

When we look back on our breakthroughs that we experienced in the past, have we ever encountered situations where only a change in our thinking brought about a significant change in the natural seen realm? However, it may take time and effort to understand what the issue is at the roots because we have been trained to be blind to those issues. We may have ignored them because we thought it was OK to live with them. But the Lord is telling us that there is more of His plan for us. What are the repeated negative cycles that have been prevailing in our lives that we need to go past to experience more of Jesus?

Today, let us reflect on ungodly living patterns and cycles that we have been trapped in. God wants to take us and lead us into the land of His promise. It is something that seems so complicated and difficult for us in our mind and understanding, but in the spiritual realm, it is a very simple but powerful truth that can break the yoke freeing us to enter into the promised land.
