This morning's devotional talks about spiritual blind spots. What are the areas where we are not aware of? We all have blind spots. This is one of the reasons why we need others and God.

Blind spots can be areas of weakness but also of positives. Have you noticed that others have pointed out certain areas of your character that are strong consistently that you never even noticed that you had them? This is one of the reasons why the bible teaches us about wise counsel. (Ref Proverbs 12:15) It may be an area where you never tried to do anything about but they were there as your strength consistently.

It may be a challenge to suddenly receive a negative feedback that we never expected that were actually our blind spots. It is important to accept the truth that we are not perfect and have it all together, and even expect others to point them out for you. As the body of Christ, we all have different and unique functions, and some of them are hidden from our physical senses unless we become intentional about noticing them. In truth, we should be willing to hear our blind spots from those who love us because by hearing their feedback would enable us to live our lives more fully for the Lord through the renewal of our minds. And most importantly, let us ask the Holy Spirit, if the feedback we received came from the Lord. (Ref Ephesians 4:7-16)

Today, let us be open to hearing feedback about our blind spots that came from the Lord. We can choose to renew our minds and experience Christ like we never did before. (Ref Romans 12:1-2)

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
