His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 16:1-3

Today's verses talk about Moses' following leaders in rebellion against him and how he chose to deal with them. These leaders were in rebellion not only against Moses but also against God. And Moses chose to leave this matter to the Lord.

We may be placed in a position of leadership but with multiple leaders against us. From the outside, it may appear that Moses was in the wrong, but this was not the truth. We need to be careful placing too much attention on what others think of us rather than focusing our minds on what the Lord thinks about us and how He wants the situation resolved through us.

Today, let us focus on what He is speaking to us to do in the face of rebellion, living out the abundant life, Christ Jesus died to give us. (Ref John 10:10)
