His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 16:4-40

This morning's verses talk about believers hearing His voice. Israelis may have perceived, known and understood the Lord visually through the physical senses seeing the judgmental works of God of their disobedience and rebellion but the Hebrew word "yada" used here points us to the new testament Greek "eidó" used in  1 John 2:20 that the believers know all things. 

The Lord speaks to us through our knowing that is revealed from within us. There are times when we know that we should or should not do certain things that are led from within us. This may be an impression, an intuition from within. (Ref 1 Kings 19: 12-13) The Lord is speaking to us constantly. (Ref Hebrews 4:12) It is important that we remain focused on what He is speaking to us each moment to fulfill the God given destiny.

Today, let us continue to focus on hearing  His voice. Let us pay our attention to our knowing, impression and intuition from within. He wants to see us succeed in the next step we take.
