Today's verses talk about purification from sin. After Christ's death on the cross, we are God's righteousness through faith. (Ref 2 Corinthians 5:2) Are we bearing the fruit of His righteousness? (Ref Matthew 7:16)

We may have been confessing with our mouth that we have the mind of Christ, (Ref 1 Corinthians 2:16) casting all our cares upon Him, (Ref 1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 55:22) forgetting what is behind, (Ref Philippians 3:13) and seeking His guidance through listening to His voice by impressions. (Ref 1 John 2:20) These are all important choices we make to mature and grow in Christ. But the foundation of our faith should be in our identity in Christ that we are His righteousness in Christ.

Today, let us start or restart reflecting and confessing that we are God's righteousness in Christ Jesus. Sometimes, this is all we need to thrive and prosper as this promise sums up what we have been reflecting, meditating and confessing on. (Ref 3 John 1:2)

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
