His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 19:14-19

Today's verses continue to talk about life. He created us so that we can have an abundant life. (Ref John 10:10)

Our heart holds the key as it determines the course of our lives. (Ref Proverbs 4:23) How do we protect our heart, mind, will and emotions? Although negative thoughts may come into our minds, distracted with thoughts of issues, stresses and concerns repeating through our minds, we have the mind of Christ. (Ref 1 Corinthians 2:16) It is important that we continue to confess that we have the mind of Christ no matter what the state of our soul is.

Have we chosen to cast our cares onto the Lord? The reason why He has this promise for us is that there are cares in our lives that we need Him to step into serve us to deal with those issues. Are they in the area of relationships? We may be repeating these as we may be believing without knowing that we can deal with them. This is a blind spot. He will then speak to us what to do about it.  (Ref Matthew 20:28, 1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 55:22)

Today, let us continue to confess that we have the mind of Christ no matter what the state.  If there are any repeated issues that distract us, we need to make a conscious choice to release them to Him contrary to our internal habits.
