His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 20:2-7

Today's verses talk about who we go to in times of challenges such as in the area of human relationships which includes leadership. 

We may be tempted to go to people for compassion and for understanding and for affirmation so that we can feel like we are doing the right thing. The Lord instructs us to receive wise counsel but that is only when He leads us to. (Ref Proverbs 12:15)

By going to Him first, hearing His voice, Who is our Creator, and obeying His guidance, is truly an enjoyable experience. (Ref John 10:27) What is He speaking to us today? Do you have a prayer closet, a physical place we can go to in order to have an intimate time with Him?  

He may have already given us a specific verse to mediate on and confess. Let us continue the good fight of faith to experience more of Jesus. (Ref 1 Timothy 6:12) He may be dealing with our level of focus and concentration. (Ref Philippians 3:13, 1 Corinthians 2:16)

Today, let us continue to seek Him first in all areas of our lives. He will speak to us in our challenges in the area of relationships, leadership as well.
