Today's verses talk about taking risks to choose to follow the Lord. Moses and Aaron had to hear His voice correctly, obey Him, and present His miracles before a large number of audience that could have turned into a shameful failure. It was the Lord that put Moses and Aaron in a challenging situation under a lot of pressure. Have we ever been led spiritually
into similar circumstances? The Lord could have been leading us into such situations. We are to go through those tests as well.
In moments like these, many distracting thoughts can come into our mind. But thank God, we have the mind of Christ. (Ref 1 Corinthians 2:16) We can continue to meditate on this promise, and declare that we have the mind of Christ.
We are to cast our cares on the Lord. In our daily lives, since we are involved in multiple things, thinking about different things at the same time can take away our focus. We need to learn the art of casting our concerns to the Lord, and hear His voice and guidance in our prayer closet during our quiet time. We can write them down for His guidance in a separate time. (Ref 1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 55:22, John 10:27)
Today, whatever battle and challenges that we are facing, let us run the risk of failure following the Lord. The righteous are to fall seven times and rise again. (Ref Proverbs 24:16)
May the Lord continue to richly bless you today!
