This morning's verses talk about self doubt, condemnation, spiritual blindness and gratitude. The Lord gave Israelis victory but then complained against Him about the lack of food even though they were given manna each day. (Ref Exodus 16:35)

Are we aware of His presence with us each day? He has already given us the victory in life. (Ref Romans 8:37) We can also look back in our history with the Lord in terms of what we received from Him. (Ref Psalm 77:11) Israelis received victory from the Lord yet did not understand that His victory applies to every area of our lives. What is He speaking to us today? Obedience enables us to experience the very victory we need today. (Ref Deuteronomy 28:2)

What are we complaining about each day even though He has already given us the very thing? (Ref 2 Peter 1:3) Is it the lack of resources to fulfill our assignment each day?  Are we lacking sufficient physical rest because of the overwhelming volume of tasks to complete each day? Christ gives us rest. (Ref Matthew 11:28) If we are not experiencing physical rest as well as spiritual rest, then we need to seek His guidance for correction. (Ref Genesis 2:2, Hebrews 4:4) Are we justifying or even encouraging overwork even though we are frustrated by them? What did He last speak to us to do? Have we been ignoring His guidance even though we know that it is wrong to ignore them thinking that we can deal with overwork by our own strength or His mercy? Our arrogance that we can handle them by ourselves is at play here. There are consequences  to every decision we make whether positive or negative.

Today, let us remember that He is the source of victory and obedience to His guidance leads us to experience victories.

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
