His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 21:27-32

Today's verses continue to talk about seeing the glimpse of what is to come. The Lord shows and leads us to experience the glimpses.

We may have received a vision and a dream from the Lord, (Ref 1 Samuel 16:14) having experienced what seemed like the beginning of the victorious journey, (Ref 1 Samuel 17:50) only to be led into the wilderness for trials, (Ref 1 Samuel 18:9) before experiencing the fulfillment of the vision. (Ref 2 Samuel 5:1-5) This was the life of king David of Israel.

Where are we in our journey with the Lord? We may be somewhere in the wilderness or in the sweet spot of His plan for us. Because His ways are higher than our ways, we may not see the whole picture. (Ref Isaiah 55:9) However, we can focus on living out our best today. (Ref Matthew 6:34)

Today, let us focus on living out our day today. Wherever we may be in our journey with the Lord, we can choose to experience the abundant life He has planned for us today. (Ref John 10:10)
