This morning's verses talk about speaking His Word to those who are against it with courage. But who is the greatest enemy to confront when we are faced with opposition? What can keep us from confrontation? Our flesh is the greatest enemy as we don't wrestle with people but with spiritual forces of the enemy.(Ref Ephesians 6:12)
What are the areas that we don't want others to touch that can keep us from being courageous to face the enemy, a distraction that can keep us off focus? This could be physical age, our appearances etc.. We may feel inferior to others because of these areas. One of the ways to deal with these areas is to cast them onto the Lord from the roots up. The Lord wants to deal with our negativity from the very roots. (Ref 1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 55:22, Mark 11:20-21) We may feel offended when others touch these areas we are ashamed of but these will soon become the past to leave behind. (Ref Philippians 3:13) Lastly, let us be prepared to simply speak the truth in love by faith, answering any questions others may have about our shameful areas even if we don't feel like it. (Ref Ephesians 4:15) We can experience freedom by the truth. (Ref John 8:32) We can deal with the smaller enemies so that we can then face the bigger enemies. (Ref Matthew 25:23)
Today, let us face the oppositions at various levels that are inside us. We need to deal with them from the very roots so that we can be set free. When we are lighter, we can move faster to experience the next breakthrough.
May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
