His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 27:1-14

This morning's verses talk about rebellion against God. We may not consciously will to go against God but there are growth areas in our mind so that we can be better aligned with the Lord. (Ref Romans 12:1-2) In this era of busy life, have we intentionally taken the time with the Lord?

It requires time to build intimacy with the Lord. As we build and become more intimate with the Lord, we will come to know Him more and more. (Ref James 4:8) What are the areas we wish could hide?  (Ref Genesis 3:7) If we are shameful about our physical appearance, certain parts of our body, it is life changing to know that we are spirit beings (Ref John 4:24) with a soul clothed in a body.  (Ref 1 Thessalonians 5:23) What we can see is temporal and cannot see is eternal. (Ref 2 Corinthians 4:18) It takes time with the Lord to understand what keeps us from experiencing freedom Christ died to give us. (Ref John 8:32)

Today, let us intentionally set aside the time with the Lord. Whoever seeks will find. (Ref Matthew 7:8)
