His Word for Today: Book of Numbers 29:1-6

This morning's verses talk about offering ourselves to the Lord. The key to offering ourselves to the Lord is through the renewing of our minds. (Ref Romans 12:1-2) What area of our mind requires mind renewal? 

Devil may be constantly attacking our mind with negative thoughts but we may not know what to do with them. This is the time when fighting by faith is required. (Ref 1 Timothy 6:12)It is important to know what the devil is specifically after. It may be our bitterness towards someone for the hurts that we received in the past. It may be that the devil is speaking lies into our minds to bring us into a state of confusion.  The solution to this issue is to continue to seek Him and He will give us the wisdom we need for victory. From my experience personally, we each have our own unique challenges that would require each one of us to seek Him personally for solutions tailored for each one of us. (Ref Matthew 7:7) If it is bitterness that we are suffering with, we can choose to forgive through allowing and suffering like Christ did on the cross. (Ref Luke 23:34)

Today, let us seek Him diligently for areas that require growth. This may not be easy as we grow in Christ but He rewards those who diligently seek Him. (Ref Hebrews 11:6) He will give us peace and rest.(Ref John 14:27, Matthew 11:28)
