This morning's verses talk about our words. In context, God is displeased of vows and oaths that were made simply to impress those around them borne of hypocrisy. Our words of yes or no following up with actions is enough to reveal His integrity. (Ref Matthew 5:33-37)

Our words have power. (Ref Proverbs 18:21) Are we speaking words of defeat without knowing such as "I can't do this", "I want to die", "I am horrible", "I look terrible", etc. ? We can use the power of words to cancel them by saying, "I cancel what I have just said that I am terrible". And follow up with His words such as "As He is so are we in this world. I am like Jesus". (Ref 1 John 4:17)  It is when we believe that we are created in His image, (Ref Genesis 1:27) our actions would supernaturally follow to behave accordingly. We behave right because we believe right about ourselves. (Ref Matthew 9:29)

Today, let us pay close attention to the words we speak. We should not tolerate any words of defeat we speak to ourselves as these could be keeping us from experiencing the next level with Him.

May the Lord continue to richly bless you!
